Installer.app has an ever growing repository of applications for your iPhone. This application has been overlooked by me and something that is not that practical. But it’s awesome. Make It Mine, by Erica Sadun, happened to attract my attention today as I was sitting in my hotel room in Santa Cruz. More on that later. But, I decided I wanted to drop ATT and join the bing! network. It’s sooo much faster.

I’ve been wishing for something like this for awhile. Screenshots of your iPhone. It’s not something that I’ve NEEDED, just wanted. Occasionally I’ll come across a webpage, or a neat application that I’ll want to show someone through email or whatever. Now I’ll be able to.
The best way to get Screenshot is through Installer.app. Here is the main information page for iPhone Screenshot.
Once you turn on the screenshot application, 2 buttons will float on top of your iPhone interface. The first button is to snap the screenshot. The 2nd button is to view all your screenshots. You can select a certain screenshot, then click on the Mail button to send yourself the screenshot, just as I did below:


It’s about time for something like this. Not just the idea, but a well-written step by step guide for SSH noobs like me. I travel quite a bit and don’t feel like spending $10 at every airport I’m stranded at. So this was a Godsend. But it makes me wonder, why isn’t EDGE or 3G embedded in laptops? I guess Steve Jobs has been asking the same question and 3G use in laptops.
